Summer Shopping Haul!

All this week I am co-hosting a summer link party with Helen from Eat.Enjoy.Live. Click the button at the bottom to find out what this is all about.

My first post in the linky is unsuprisingly a haul! Yey!
These are from all different places and have been bought speicfically with my upcoming summer holiday in mind.
Vest - Internacionale £4.99 buy one get one half price.
The fabric of these vests is a really soft jersey material, and comes in lots of other colours.
Bikinis - both Primark £3.00 each (top and bottom sold separately)
I'm a sucker for anything natuical and have been after a nautical bikini for my last couple of holidays, and I spotted this one in Primark. The orange and turquoise has reversible bottoms, nd the neck strap is detachable, so you can wear it as a bandeau. I generally wear a lot of halter bikinis as he usually come quite well padded and I'm small up top, but I always end up with tan lines, so I'm trying a couple of differernt nikini styles this year. As my OH put it, the turquoise and orange is certianly a "second week bikini" when I've got a bit more coliur. It make me want go order a fruity mango-y cocktail from Tom Cruise!
Bikini's - Primark, part of a set of 4 items £6.00
Primark are great at sets of of bikinis that you can mix and match for different looks. Again I've gone for the bandeau style here.

Shorts - Primark £10
These shorts are a great day-tripping pair of shorts ofr holidays, but equally they can be dressed up for an evening in the hotel bar. These are made of a light cotton fabric and come with the belt show, and come in many other colours.I'm after the navy pair but haven't found them in my size yet.
Black shorts - Primark £8.00
Camel silk style shorts H&M £14.99
I'm really loving cullotte-style shorts right now, as they give a similar look to a skirt but without all the potential opportuinities for loosing your dignity! This will look great for the evenings.

Gladitor Mini Wedge - Asda £14.00. Strappy Flipflops -Primark £2.50

You can't see it in this picture but the beige gladitor style shoes have a tiny mini wedge. This is great for holidays as theres rarely a need for skyscraper heels on holiday but give that bit of lift so you still feel dressed up.

    1. Hi Alison! Thanks for following!

I'm just topping up a bit really, as the weather is so unpredictable in the UK, my summer clothes last quite a long time as they get such little wear! So there isn't much more left to buy now:)

    1. Hi Jelli! Thanks for 'hopping'over! I'm a really unsociable shopper actually! I much prefer shopping on my own as it means I get to spend as much or as little time as I want lol - although it means a miss out of a friends opinion until I get home. My closet is ratehr huge, and is now spreading into my OH's lol, your more than welcome to quite frankly get lost in there! Maybe you will find something I've forgotton about :)

  8. I love your haul! I'm a fan of collecting swim suits, and I'm in so much denial about it being winter, that I've incorporated shorts into my winter wardrobe. Probably won't be able to do sandals though ;) Happy Summer xoxox

    1. Of course it's winter in Oz isn't it? Bizarre really I lways think of it being hot and everyone having their own pool an surfing over there - misconceptions eh?

  9. In love with all of those bikini's. It's so frustrating, each time I go to my local store there's nothing in there.
Perhaps a trip to the London store is in order :)

    1. I'm a bit of a primark addict and live within easy distance of 3 different ones - my local one is meadowhall but I like to get there first thing in the morning when everything is tidy and the tills are quiet!
